August Weigh-In – The Final Goal

As the 2010 A-Team Challenge wound to a close this month, each member was trying to reach his own goals.  For some, it was a monthly win.  For others, it was seven consecutive months of losing weight.  But for everyone, the goal was to try to have lost enough to catch up with Bill C before he ran away (literally and figuratively) with the overall crown.

July Weigh-In: The Finish Line Nears…

As the second to last month of this challenge wound to a close, it has become abundantly clear which of our entrants have been trying month in and month out to drop the pounds and get in shape.  Bill C and Derek have managed to drop weight every single month of this challenge, while the three other competitors have each had at least one month a piece with a weight gain.

June Weigh-In

The five remaining participants from the A-Team Challenge met at the end of June for the fifth monthly weigh-in.  Of the five members left, Derek, Dave & Bill C had all posted four consecutive months of weight loss.  Tim had only previously posted one month of weight gain, while Bill P was riding a two month streak of gain that had seen him rise to a weight of near his original starting point…

The May Weigh-In

Since this has become more of a monthly updated blog rather than daily or even weekly, I’ll make this short and sweet.  May came and went without much incident, aside from Bill C taking a vacation, gaining weight on said vacation, getting engaged on said vacation, and still managing to lose weight overall for the month.  We all hate him…

April Weigh-In

Once again, the six of us gathered together to compare our month’s body of work.  With a trip to Las Vegas for Tim, Dave & Derek and a trip to San Diego for Bill P, we weren’t expecting much in the way of weight loss.  In fact, there was a reasonable chance the pot would grow by a few dollars – at an extra $1 to the pot for each pound gained, it can get out of hand fast.

“Cheat week”

Not that any of us need a reason to cheat, but if we did, here it is.  Three of us are heading out West – Tim and Derek are already out that way, I’ll be leaving in the morning.  Bill P just got back from a vacation to San Diego.  Bill C is planning a vacation for May.

The numbers should get awful interesting when three of us have dined on Las Vegas buffets and many, many drinks for the next five days.  Let’s just assume the prize pool will be growing a bit by the end of this month…

March Weigh-In
